Wylie Test and Tag offers a Electrical Test and Tagging service to all sectors of the workforce. We would appreciate it if you would consider our services should you see the need. 


We have gained our experience through Professional training and many contracts in the Waikato and Auckland Area. 


 Portable Appliance Testing is one way of ensuring you are taking all practical steps to keep you and your staff safe.  It does make sense to have these tests completed on a regular basis.

TEST EQUIPMENT

Our Testing equipment is amongst the best on the NZ market and is used by many Test and Tag companies throughout NZ.  The Metro iPat will undertake every required test and more. Once complete it will print the Tag (no hand-written tags here) This also stores your info for later reference as needed.

How to book a Test

Simply give us a call, email us or fill out the contact form below.

You will be contacted, and a suitable time would be arranged 

A technician would come in test your equipment and affix tags to the equipment indicating a Pass or Fail, naturally we would bring any issues to your attention while on site and a written report would be included with your invoice. 


Once we have you on our books leave it to us.

We will contact you when the next round of testing is required to arrange a suitable time.

Cost 

We charge on a per Tag Basis.

Failed Appliances would be put aside for you to have repaired or replaced.

Once repaired or a replaced we would return and retest, making it fit for use.

(New appliances and leads must be tested before going into service)

Do I need Test and Tag my Electrical equipment?

Simple answer is of course you do. Your commitment to the Testing and Tagging of your equipment is a major part in keeping yourself and your staff safe.

Undertaking test and tagging ensures you are in compliance with the AS/NZS Standard 3760. This Standard expects all commercial enterprises to have their electrical equipment tested at regular intervals, Tagged, and the results recorded.

It is your Protection in a court of law if something goes wrong.  

The penalties for failing to take all practicable steps can be crippling. 

What do I need to have tested?

 If it plugs in it needs to be tested, This includes your office equipment, workshop and site equipment.

How often?

As a Guideline 

  • Office Equipment - between 12 and 24 months 

  • Workshops - every 6 months

  • Job sites - every 3 months 

Naturally these time frames can change with various application and their associated risks.
